GET TO KNOW OUR BOARD

LeeAnn Combs has been an Estate Settlement & Fiduciary Officer for Yellow Cardinal Advisory Group of First Financial Bank for eight years. LeeAnn finds serving her clients and our community rewarding. She loves the history of First Financial Bank and considers it a privilege to be a part of the trust department and historical Butler County, Ohio. She says joining Junior Achievement of Middletown Area in it's exciting 85th anniversary year, compliments her love for the area and our local history. LeeAnn graduated from Miami University with degrees in Journalism and History and she's enjoying life on her farm (located in Edgewood School District) with her husband and children.

"I have fond memories of Junior Achievement volunteers joining my classroom at John XXIII elementary school. We played games, learned origins of successful businesses (still thriving today) and did exercises highlighting goals, work ethic and entrepreneurship. Those memories and values stuck, and I jump at opportunities to volunteer in classrooms providing similar motivating experiences several decades later to our current area students. Junior Achievement arms students with fantastic tools and life skills to become successful. I am excited to be a board member and help further the program’s success and reach."

Junior Achievement 18 Under Eighteen - Career in Sight

In partnership with Miami University Regionals, Junior Achievement of Middletown Area will host the first 18 Under Eighteen: Career in Sight awards honoring the most extraordinary young people in Southwest Ohio. This event will showcase the area's young leaders who show an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and an overall impressive skill set. The eighteen nominees will be honored during a special ceremony at Miami University Middletown campus where they can network with local and county leaders.

Nominations are open to anyone who will be 18 or younger during the 2024-2025 school year. Each student can apply for one or two Career Cluster areas of interest. If two career clusters are chosen, the student must submit a separate video/essay response for each career cluster. Nominees must reside within the JA Middletown Area school districts
